Hi, friend. I'm Giulia, but everyone calls me Giules. I'm the founder of the Groundwork Club, a creative studio helping brands stay grounded and feel calm through aligned strategy, intentional branding and authentic content. Among other things, I'm a Brand Consultant with 10 years of experience under my belt, a Storyteller, a Podcast Host, a Retreat Planner and your next Biz Alchemist.
Italian born, French bred, Cancer Sun, Taurus Moon, Scorpio Rising, Projector, ex-coffee drinker, obsessed with all things woohoo and allergic to small talk. I speak 5 languages, lived in 6 different countries and have been bringing alive some of the most well-known international lifestyle fashion, lifestyle, beauty and hospitality brands such as MTV, Grazia, Fendi, Hermes, Gucci, L'Oreal, Sephora, Lancome, Shiseido, the Doha Design District, the National Museum of Qatar, the Chainsmokers, Al Jazeera, W Hotel, Mandarin Oriental and many more...
After studying political sciences, marketing and fashion management, I worked in Paris, London and L.A before moving to Doha where I worked in fashion marketing, advertising and film production for about 10 years.
I left the workaholic hustle to help fearless founders like you set up a solid foundation and build a sustainable brand, business and life. With agency know-how, minus the factory approach, I will head up your brand strategy efforts with audacity, so you can do the work you need, from the ground up. The Earth grounds us, sustains us, and reminds us of the importance of connection—not just with ourselves, but with the world around us. But as we create, we must also give back to the very source that allows us to thrive.
With this in mind, we’re proud to partner with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation and restoring the health of our planet. A portion of the proceeds from every retreat will go toward planting trees, ensuring that the gifts of the Earth—its roots, resilience, and renewal—continue to nourish us all for generations to come.
Getting there: to Florence
Please fly into Humberto Delgato Airport (Lisbon Airport). If possible, arrive before 12pm on Monday, October 30th for the most seamless group transportation pickup. Our location is a ~45-minute additional commute from the airport.

Check-in/Check-out times
At this time, we don't offer payment plans. Our team is committed to delivering an exceptional experience that meets your expectations, and we've structured our offerings to reflect the value of your investment. If you have any questions or would like to discuss payment options, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Do you offer payment plans?
We will be diving deep into your brand and business during this retreat, so plenty of focus time has been carved in. However, we recommend not having any additional work commitments outside of the retreat workshops so you can be fully present and get the most out of it.
The check in for our retreat is Monday, October 30th, 3pm at the location, after pick up at Humberto Delgato Airport.
The check out for our retreat is Saturday, November 3rd, 1pm after which you will be dropped off to either the airport or central Lisbon depending on your plans.
Should I be working during the retreat?
Once you’ve arrived at the Lisbon Airport, group transportation will be provided and will be prearranged. Your personal driver will drop you off and pick you up right at the location, which is a ~45-minute additional commute from the airport.
Getting there: to retreat location
We require you to purchase personal travel insurance which can cover you during the entirety of the trio. We have our own corporate insurance and will be prepared to handle anything in case of unexpected circumstances, but we require that you purchase your own.
Should I get travel insurance for this trip?
We would love for you to share this experience with a familiar face. If you would like to bring a friend and share a room with them, you are welcome to do so. If you book and inform us by October 1, we will reduce the retreat investment by 500$ for each of you.

Want to bring a business bestie?
We understand things don't always go according to plan.
Upon booking, 50% of your payment will be considered as a deposit and non refundable. Should you choose to cancel, we would be able to refund you the remaining 50% up until October 6th. After that date, all sales will be considered final and we will not be able to process any refunds.
Again, it is necessary for you to purchase personal travel insurance which can cover you in case of unexpected circumstances.
